History of Dakshin Dinajpur in Hindi

दक्षिण दिनाजपुर को पश्चिमी दिनाजपुर से अलग करके १ अप्रैल १९९२ में बनाया गया, यह बालुरघाट और गंगारामपुर दो उपखंड में विभाजित है, इसके आसपास के जिले या तो बंगलादेश में चले गए या फिर बिहार में, ये जिले का बंटवारा १९५६ में ही हुआ था।
